Who We Are
Home Again Dalmatian Rescue is an incorporated Dalmatian rescue based Alabama in Fayette County. We are working on getting our 501c3 status but until then all your donations to us are still tax deductible. We pull unwanted urgent Dalmatians out of kill shelters in Alabama and the bordering states usually just before they are to be put to sleep. With your donations and the help of other Dalmatian Rescues we are able to fully vet them, vaccinate them, give them a microchip, socialize and train them and then find them new loving homes. All of the Dalmatian we save will stay with us in our sanctuary until a home is found. We only work with 4-5 Dalmatians at one time as we are a small group but saving a few is better than saving none, and the more donations we receive the more we can save. none.
We are on 2 acres of land with 2 houses, and a work shop. We have a 60 x 60 fenced in training/exercise yard for them to romp around, socialize and play. All the dogs are brought in at night unless they are already inside where they all have their own beds, unless they are in quarantine, there they are in the other house with indoor outdoor runs, blankets, toys and daily love until they can join the indoor pack.
To Educate the public about animal rights, welfare and the proper care of a pet.
To raise money for a low cost spay neuter fund for our county to reduce the overpopulation of companion animals
To promote the importance of Spaying and Neutering your pets
To provide vetting, proper care, socialization and training to our Dalmatians until they find a new home
To find new loving homes for the Dals that come into our rescue from urgent situations.
