Both locations are directed by Gilda Turner. Any rescue question should be directed through her and she will direct
We rescue on a limited bases. We pull unwanted urgent dogs from kill shelters in Alabama, Mississippi and the bordering states
We also assist with transportation for other rescues, pull assist and temp foster. We currently have no long term foster homes and can not long term foster in either location. We do not function out of kennels but out of our own homes.
We currently only work with 2-4 dogs at one time with the limited space at either location.
Our Place
Our old place is discribed to the right. We are in now in a 900sf house. It is located on 1400 acres. The dogs that come in get plenty of exercise with walks and swimming. They are socialized to verious animals. We have no kennels. Every dog who comes to our rescue is introduced into the house after a quarantine period. Our own dogs have their own room, they each have a seperate kennel or choose to lay on the king size bed just for them. Our dogs help alot in the socialization of new dogs.
Our location with Gilda Turner in Hartselle AL has an airconditioned/heated quarantine area and then socialization in her home before adoption.
